Show me the whales and get a FREE night!

The humpback whales have returned to Byron Bay! The humpbacks pass right by the cape during their seasonal migration along the east coast of Australia. Every year from June through November they come into the bay slapping their tales and breaching making Byron Bay one of the best spots in Australia to see the whales.

The whales are a big part of Byron Bay history and a major tourist attraction for the town. So this year we're going to have a little photo competition that goes a little like this:

First place: One night of accommodation at the Arts Factory
Second place: A full day bicycle rental from our MAD Travel Shop
Third place: A pancake breakfast with coffee at our Arts Factory Cafe

OK how do I win??
We want you to post your best whale shot on the facebook group. So you need to get to the lighthouse, spend some time in Wategos or maybe even the lookout at the Pass. When you see one whale you know you're going to see more. So get out there and get shooting!
The deadline for the competition is July 6th. They must your own photos and they must be dated.
We will judge the photos and inform the winners after all the submissions have been made.
I've put up one example of what you're shooting for so good luck and happy whale watching!
