1. How far are you from the city and the main beaches and do you have a shuttle service?
We are only a seven minutes walk from the centre of the city and the beaches. We have a courtesy bus that runs into town ten times a day and meets all bus/train arrivals. We also have bikes for hire. Click here for Map.
2. What kind of things can you do in Byron?
Byron is the most Easterly point in Australia, it has a historic lighthouse that overlooks the whole township and the beaches are spectacular. It is also one of the metropolitan towns in Australia. Activities around Byron range from surfing, to scuba diving, to trips to the hinterland to see Nimbin, to parachuting, to checking out live music at the local pubs, to going to the movies, see Pighouse Flicks or just lazing on the beach. 3. What is the weather like there?
In summer it averages around 28°c and is clear and humid, occasionally we have rainstorms in the afternoon. Winter is even clearer than summer and averages around 22°c.
4. What time is checkout?
Checkout is 10am and we provide storage for luggage.
5. Do you provide linen?
Yes we do, however you can bring a sleeping bag in winter if you want.
6. Can you book for New Years Eve or Easter?
We only book nine double rooms for the period of New Year’s Eve and Easter and they go pretty quickly. Other than that it is first come first served basis, that time of the year, so try and arrive early!
