December 05 News!

Hi All,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the folks at the Arts Factory Village!

A great time was had by all on Christmas Eve and Jonny, Tod and Elise cooking up a meal of Ham, Chicken(closely related to the Turkey Species) and Salads for the Party. A Karoke machine was hired by Peggy and a night of Caroloke followed. Some of it would have been painfull if we were sober but we weren't. Apple Bobbing, Pinyata, Twister and other games were organised by Jess and Danica and a good time was had by all.

Big Mick came as Santa Claus and frightened the hell out of most of us and Eliot came along a Santa's little helper and close companion(very close). The finally of the night was when everyone was given sparklers and we all sang White Christmas, very touching and quite memorable.

Christmas day was a recovery breakfast of Pancakes, Cream, Strawberries and Champagne cooked by the new girls on the block Lucy and Patsy. I don't think they every want to look at another pancake again after cooking about 600 of the little wonders. Then everyone departed to the beach to enjoy the stinking hot weather and work on their Christmas Tans.

On New Years Eve there was a massive party at the Buddha Bar with mutiple DJ's and bands performing to the festive crowd. With five different areas of entertainment everyone had a fantastic time. There were a few casualties and many people found their way home eventually but not in a straight line. That's to Dave Coleman and the crew for putting on a great show and we are all ready to do it again next year.

Thanks Jonny and Tod.
Some exciting photos to follow, so stay tuned!!!!!
